From all the forms, the general concept about the rain art would always be that it depicts the qualities of a natural rain in the way that it moistens, blur, and even stain something, however, transforms such properties of the rain into visual work. Different media interact in different ways with the rain, but artists would let exposed surfaces be deliberately left on or even designed to include effects of falling raindrops.
For example, a painter can paint on the sidewalk or on a piece of canvas and let rainwater seep into it, changing the patterns, colors, and textures.
