1. Externally Acting Causes: Exposure to carcinoma such as smoking cigarette, ultra-violet of the sun damage DNA thus resulting in causes for cancerous illnesses. The duration of this form of exposure had the larger that chance there exists for occurrence to a given disease type cancerous.

2. Genetics: Some cancers are associated with the inherited family history. There are some genetic mutations passed down the generations that predispose a person to developing certain cancers, like breast, ovarian, and colorectal.
